Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use related browser storage (localStorage) to remember your preferences. Together we refer to these as "cookies" in this notice.

How we use them

We group cookies into three categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site to work: keeping you signed in, securing forms (CSRF/session), and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on under the UK PECR "strictly necessary" exemption.
  • Analytics — a lightweight, first-party counter that records which pages and buttons are used. We never see your name, email or IP address through this. Off by default.
  • Marketing — we do not currently set marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes we will ask for your consent first.

Your preferences

You can change your choices at any time below. Your selection is stored in your browser only; clearing site data will reset it and you will be asked again.

Strictly necessary

Required for sign-in, security and remembering this choice.

Analytics

Anonymous page and button counts. No personal data.

Marketing

Not used today. Will require fresh consent if ever added.

Cookies we use

  • sb-*-auth-token — keeps you signed in (necessary). Up to 1 year.
  • chicay.cookie-consent — remembers your cookie choice (necessary). 12 months.
  • chicay.analytics — anonymous click/page counter (analytics, optional). 12 months.

Third parties

We do not embed third-party advertising or social tracking pixels. Where we link to Instagram or other sites their own cookies apply once you visit them.

Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop parts of the Site — for example sign-in — from working.
